Scientists test if thinking harder boosts brain zaps

NCT ID NCT05962385

Summary

This study explored whether performing mental tasks while receiving non-invasive brain stimulation could make the stimulation more effective at changing brain activity. Researchers worked with 51 healthy adults who completed simple thinking tasks while receiving brief magnetic pulses to the forehead. They measured changes in brain function using EEG to see if being mentally active during stimulation produced different results.
