Scientists zap brains to unlock secrets of aging minds

NCT ID NCT07168031

Summary

This study aims to understand how a safe, mild form of electrical brain stimulation affects how people think and process information. Researchers will compare healthy younger adults (20-40) and older adults (60-80) as they do computer tasks, using MRI scans to see how their brain activity changes. The goal is to gather basic knowledge about how aging influences the brain's response to stimulation, which could guide future research.
