VA study aims to pinpoint brain areas for better treatment in veterans with alcohol use and brain injury

Summary

This study looks at how alcohol use disorder and mild traumatic brain injury together affect the brain in veterans. Researchers want to find the right brain area to stimulate with a non-invasive technique called rTMS to help improve daily functioning. About 100 veterans will take part to help guide future treatments.
