Zapping the brain to ease trauma and depression
NCT ID NCT07327385
Summary
This study is testing two different types of non-invasive brain stimulation to see how they affect brain activity and the body's stress response in people who have both post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and major depression. Researchers will measure changes in brain blood flow and heart rate patterns after a single stimulation session. The goal is to better understand how these treatments work and find biological signs that could help guide future personalized therapy.
