Summary

This study tested a new device that can measure brain activity during deep brain stimulation (DBS) surgery for Parkinson's disease. Researchers wanted to understand how DBS affects the brain to potentially improve this treatment. Only one person with Parkinson's who was already scheduled for DBS surgery participated in this early testing.
