Zapping the brain to understand memory loss

NCT ID NCT05448768

Summary

This study is testing a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called theta-burst stimulation (TBS) in 80 people with mild cognitive impairment (early memory problems). The main goal is to understand how the stimulation works and if it affects thinking skills, not to provide a cure. Researchers will use brain scans and memory tests before and after the two-week stimulation period to learn more.
