First seen Mar 18, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a type of brain stimulation can help people with depression who have trouble feeling pleasure (anhedonia). Researchers will give 72 participants five days of stimulation and measure changes in brain activity and mood. The goal is to understand how brain signals relate to goal-directed behavior, not to cure depression.
