Zapping the brain to help seniors walk and remember?
NCT ID NCT06501820
Summary
This study is exploring whether a gentle, non-invasive form of brain stimulation can improve walking and navigation skills in older adults who have noticed some memory changes. Researchers will use a technique called tDCS on 60 participants while they walk and do thinking tasks. The goal is to see if this stimulation changes how certain brain networks work together and if it leads to better physical and mental performance.
