Zapping the brain to fight depression: can scans predict who it helps?

NCT ID NCT07207239

Summary

This study is testing a non-invasive brain stimulation therapy called theta-burst rTMS for adults with depression that hasn't improved with other treatments. Researchers will use brain scans and other tests to try to predict which patients are most likely to get better from the stimulation. They will also check if the treatment affects memory and thinking skills.
