Gentler brain zap tested for depression that Won't quit

NCT ID NCT05172271

Summary

This study is testing a new, gentler form of brain stimulation called TEST for people with severe depression that hasn't improved with standard treatments. It aims to see if TEST can safely reduce depression symptoms without the memory problems sometimes caused by stronger therapies like ECT. The study involves 30 adults who will receive either the real TEST treatment or a sham (fake) procedure to compare the effects.
