Faster brain zaps tested for teens with Tough-to-Treat depression
NCT ID NCT06528938
Summary
This small pilot study is testing whether a faster schedule of a non-invasive brain stimulation treatment works better for teenagers with depression that hasn't improved with medication. Researchers are comparing a new, accelerated schedule (three treatments per day for two weeks) against the standard schedule (one treatment per day for six weeks). The goal is to gather initial evidence to see if the faster approach is feasible and effective before launching a larger, more definitive trial.
