Zapping away teen depression: brain stimulation trial offers new hope

Summary
This study is testing whether gentle, non-invasive brain stimulation can help reduce depression symptoms in teenagers with bipolar disorder. One hundred participants aged 12-18 will receive either real or fake stimulation for 10 days while continuing their regular care. Researchers will measure changes in depression and collect brain scans and blood samples to understand how the treatment might work.
