Zapping the brain to help find lost words
NCT ID NCT05408975
Summary
This study tested whether a gentle, non-invasive electric stimulation to the brain could help people with a history of traumatic brain injury who struggle to find words. Five civilian participants received either real or fake stimulation over 10 sessions to see if it improved their ability to recall words and names. Researchers measured changes in verbal skills and other thinking abilities during and after the treatment period.
