Brain implant trial aims to rewire Stroke-Damaged minds

NCT ID NCT06506279

Summary

This study is testing whether a surgically implanted brain device can help people regain arm and hand movement after a stroke. The device delivers mild electrical stimulation to the brain while participants do physical therapy, aiming to 'rewire' neural connections. It is a small, early-stage trial to see if this combined approach is safe and feasible for improving motor recovery.
