Brain implant tweak could ease sleepless nights for Parkinson's patients

Summary

This study is testing whether adjusting the settings on a deep brain stimulation implant can help improve sleep for people with Parkinson's disease who have severe insomnia. Researchers will enroll 10 participants who already have the implant and see if stimulating a different brain area helps them sleep better. The goal is to see if this approach can ease a common and distressing symptom of Parkinson's.
