Zapping the brain to ease OCD fears?

NCT ID NCT05521074

Summary

This study explored whether a mild, non-invasive brain stimulation technique could help people with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) better learn to reduce unwanted fears. Researchers tested the stimulation at different times during a two-day fear-learning task with 86 participants who had OCD. The goal was to gather information to help design future combination therapies, not to provide immediate treatment.
