Zapping migraines away: brain stimulation trial offers new hope

NCT ID NCT05769348

Summary

This study is testing whether gentle, non-invasive brain stimulation can reduce migraine pain and headache frequency. Researchers will compare two types of stimulation (one-sided and both-sided) against a fake treatment in 60 people with chronic migraines. The goal is to see if this daily, at-home treatment for 20 days can help people have fewer and less severe migraine days.
