Scientists zap brains to unlock memory secrets
NCT ID NCT04095026
Summary
This study aims to learn how memory works by recording brain activity in epilepsy patients who already have electrodes implanted for their medical care. Researchers will have participants play memory games on a computer while monitoring their brain signals, and may gently stimulate certain brain areas with small electrical pulses. The goal is to identify brain patterns linked to good memory and understand which areas influence memory performance.
