Scientists test brain zaps to mimic years of meditation
NCT ID NCT06601686
Summary
This study is testing whether a type of safe, non-invasive brain stimulation can help experienced meditators quickly reach a deep, calm state where they feel less attached to their own thoughts and feelings. Researchers will compare two stimulation techniques on 12 healthy, experienced meditators to see which one works better. The goal is to understand if technology can produce benefits similar to long-term meditation practice.
