Scientists test 'Shortcut to Meditation' using brain zaps
NCT ID NCT06601699
Summary
This study is testing whether gentle brain stimulation can help people who have never meditated before quickly reach a calm, focused state similar to what experienced meditators achieve. Researchers will use a special cap to measure brain activity while participants try a simple meditation task with and without stimulation. The goal is to understand if this technology can help people distance themselves from stressful thoughts and potentially improve wellbeing.
