Zapping the brain at home to fight fibromyalgia pain
NCT ID NCT05845528
Summary
This study tested whether a home-based brain stimulation treatment could reduce pain and improve daily life for women with fibromyalgia. Researchers wanted to see if people who typically respond well to placebo treatments would get more benefit from the real stimulation. Participants used a special headset at home for 30 sessions while tracking their pain and symptoms.
