Magnetic pulses target Brain's 'Cleaning System' in memory loss fight

NCT ID NCT07192913

Summary

This study is testing whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called TMS can boost the brain's natural waste-clearing system. Researchers want to see if this helps remove harmful proteins linked to Alzheimer's disease in people with mild cognitive impairment, an early stage of memory problems. The small trial will measure changes in brain proteins and thinking skills over six months.
