Zapping depression: new brain stimulation technique tested
NCT ID NCT06165445
Summary
This study tested whether a new, multi-channel brain stimulation technique (tDCS) works better than the standard method or a fake treatment for major depression. It involved 60 adults with moderate-to-severe depression. Researchers measured changes in depression symptoms, thinking skills, and brain activity to see which approach was most effective and safe.
