First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 11, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study aims to see if a non-invasive brain stimulation technique (rTMS) and computer-based thinking exercises can improve mental flexibility in adults with major depression. Researchers will use brain scans to target specific areas thought to be involved in this thinking problem. The goal is to find a better way to treat the persistent thinking difficulties that often remain even when depression symptoms improve.
