First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study tests if a gentle, non-invasive brain stimulation (NIBS) can improve memory and attention in people with COPD who have thinking problems. Twenty-four adults with stable COPD and mild cognitive issues will receive either real or fake stimulation for 20 minutes a day, 5 days a week for 3 weeks. Researchers will compare thinking and breathing tests before and after treatment to see if it helps.
