Robot-Guided brain zaps target Veterans' PTSD

NCT ID NCT06587659

Summary

This study tested whether an accelerated schedule of targeted brain stimulation could reduce PTSD symptoms in military veterans and active-duty service members. Participants received up to four daily sessions of image-guided magnetic brain stimulation over two weeks. Researchers measured changes in PTSD and depression symptoms to see if this standalone treatment could help where traditional talk therapy often fails due to high dropout rates.
