First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This small pilot study tests whether a gentle, non-invasive brain stimulation method (tDCS) can improve thinking, memory, and walking ability in older adults with mild Alzheimer's disease living in supportive housing. Participants receive 10 sessions of either real or sham stimulation. The goal is to see if this approach is feasible and might ease symptoms like trouble with multitasking while walking.
