Zapping away brain fog? new study tests gentle stimulation to clear mental cobwebs
NCT ID NCT07044596
Summary
This study is exploring whether gently stimulating a nerve in the forehead can improve the brain's natural cleanup system, which clears away waste. Researchers want to see if this non-invasive method can help slow cognitive decline in people who have had a recent mild head injury. They will measure changes in brain blood flow and fluid movement using MRI scans in both healthy adults and those recovering from concussion.
