Zapping brain waves to ease hand pain: new treatment tested

Summary
This study is testing whether two types of noninvasive brain stimulation can reduce chronic pain in people with carpal tunnel syndrome. Researchers will compare real stimulation to fake stimulation in 95 adults who have had persistent hand pain for at least six months. The goal is to see if this approach can provide pain relief when standard treatments haven't worked well enough.
