Zapping the brain to fight cannabis addiction?

NCT ID NCT05401929

Summary

This study is testing whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique can help people who want to cut back on heavy cannabis use. Researchers will use a device called TMS to target brain areas linked to cravings and see if it reduces both the urge to use cannabis and actual use. Fifty participants will receive either real or fake stimulation over two weeks while tracking their cannabis use and brain activity.
