Magnetic helmet targets Alzheimer's through Gut-Brain link

NCT ID NCT07346794

Summary

This study investigates whether a non-invasive magnetic brain stimulation treatment can help control Alzheimer's disease symptoms by improving communication between the gut and brain. Researchers will compare real treatment to placebo in 200 Alzheimer's patients while studying 200 healthy volunteers for comparison. Participants will receive brain scans, cognitive tests, and gut bacteria analysis over one year to understand how the treatment might work.
