Summary

This study looked at how a short, painless brain stimulation technique called continuous theta burst stimulation (cTBS) changes the way healthy young adults pay attention to emotional pictures, like a crying child or a smiling baby. 91 participants received either real or fake stimulation over the left or right side of the brain, then completed a computer task measuring their reaction times. The goal was to understand brain regions involved in emotional attention, not to treat any condition.
