First seen Nov 16, 2025 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tests whether different types of gentle electrical brain stimulation, combined with computer-based thinking exercises, can improve memory and thinking in people with dementia. About 100 older adults with mild to moderate dementia will receive either real or fake stimulation to find the best approach. The goal is to ease symptoms and improve daily life, not to cure the disease.
