Summary

This early study tests a new imaging drug called [18F]MK-0947 that works with a PET scan to show clumps of a protein called alpha-synuclein in the brain, which are linked to Parkinson's disease. The goal is to see if the drug is safe and can help doctors better diagnose and track Parkinson's. The study includes 22 adults with Parkinson's and healthy volunteers, and involves PET scans, blood tests, and safety checks.
