Summary

This study aims to develop better brain scanning techniques to understand mood and anxiety disorders like depression. Researchers will use MRI scans and thinking tests to compare brain structure and activity in 300 healthy volunteers and 90 people with major depression. The goal is to create clearer pictures of how these conditions affect the brain, which could help guide future research and treatments.
