Scientists scan brains to unlock mysteries of migraine and epilepsy
NCT ID NCT05524493
Summary
This study uses a powerful 7 Tesla MRI scanner to take detailed pictures of the brain in people with migraine, drug-resistant epilepsy, or visual snow syndrome. Researchers want to see how the brain's structure and activity differ in these conditions compared to healthy volunteers. The goal is to better understand what causes these neurological disorders, which could help guide future treatments.
