Brain check for breast cancer: can scans spot trouble before symptoms?

NCT ID NCT05130840

Summary

This study is testing whether regular brain scans and spinal fluid tests can detect the early spread of breast cancer to the brain in people with HER2-positive breast cancer. Researchers want to see if finding this spread early, before symptoms start, is possible and practical. The goal is to gather information that could lead to earlier treatment in the future.
