Brain map breakthrough? new scan could spot Alzheimer's & Parkinson's sooner
NCT ID NCT06080659
Summary
This study aims to find new, low-cost ways to detect Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease earlier. Researchers will use MRI brain scans and a memory task to look for specific patterns in brain connections in 120 people, including patients and healthy volunteers. The goal is to identify unique 'brain maps' that could serve as early warning signs for these diseases before major symptoms appear.
