First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study involves 100 veterans with depression that hasn't improved with medication. Researchers use brain scans to see if certain brain activity patterns can predict who will benefit from transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), a non-invasive treatment that uses magnetic pulses to stimulate the brain. The goal is to find markers that help doctors personalize TMS therapy for better outcomes.
