Brain scans guide new depression treatment trial

NCT ID NCT06408246

Summary

This study is testing if adding the medication guanfacine to a standard antidepressant (sertraline) can help people with depression, especially those who also have trouble with thinking and focus. Researchers will use brain scans and cognitive tests to see how the treatment affects brain networks. The goal is to see if this approach leads to better recovery from depressive symptoms.
