First seen Dec 12, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study uses a safe, noninvasive technique called transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) to temporarily change brain activity in healthy adults. Researchers want to learn how a part of the brain called the cerebellum helps control feelings of fullness after eating. 150 participants will have their brain activity and food choices measured after TMS, both when hungry and when full. This research may help develop future treatments for obesity.
