Brain retraining program tested to ease debilitating MS symptoms
NCT ID NCT07427433
Summary
This study tested two non-drug approaches to help people with multiple sclerosis manage persistent symptoms like fatigue, pain, and mood issues. 132 participants tried either a comprehensive lifestyle education program, a brain retraining program focused on calming overactive stress circuits, or waited for treatment. Researchers measured whether these approaches improved symptoms and quality of life when added to usual medical care.
