First seen Feb 17, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study looks at 10 people with severe depression that hasn't improved with other treatments. They will get a special brain implant that can both stimulate a key area and record electrical signals. The goal is to find patterns in these signals that show when the treatment is working, which could help doctors adjust settings more precisely in the future.
