Brain zaps tested to fight Alzheimer's memory loss

NCT ID NCT07143734

Summary

This study is testing whether a gentle, non-invasive brain stimulation treatment can help people with early Alzheimer's disease. The treatment, called Transcranial Pulse Stimulation (TPS), uses focused sound pulses aimed at the brain. Researchers will compare the real treatment to a sham (placebo) version to see if it improves memory, thinking skills, and daily function over 12 weeks.
