Could routine brain scans change survival for stage 4 breast cancer?

NCT ID NCT07357298

Summary

This study is testing whether getting regular brain MRI scans every 6 months helps detect cancer spread to the brain earlier in people with stage 4 breast cancer who don't have symptoms. Researchers want to see if finding cancer spread sooner leads to better treatment options and improved survival. The trial will compare regular scheduled scans against the current approach where scans are only done when symptoms appear.
