New hope for melanoma brain metastases: triple-drug combo enters trials

Summary

This study tests two or three drugs (defactinib, avutometinib, and possibly encorafenib) in people with advanced melanoma that has spread to the brain. It aims to see if these combinations can shrink brain tumors and how safe they are. About 33 adults whose melanoma has grown after standard immunotherapy are eligible.
