New drug combo targets cancer spread to the brain

Summary

This study is testing a combination of three drugs (utidelone, bevacizumab, and sometimes etoposide) to treat cancer that has spread to the brain from lung or breast tumors. It will involve 56 patients to see if this approach can shrink brain tumors and control the disease. The goal is to find a better systemic treatment for this serious complication of advanced cancer.
