Timing of brain radiation may change outcomes for cancer patients

Summary
This study tests whether giving focused radiation before surgery for large brain tumors (over 2.1 cm) works better than giving it after surgery. About 146 adults with cancer that has spread to the brain will be randomly assigned to one of the two timing groups. The goal is to see which approach reduces the chance of cancer spreading to the lining of the brain and improves local control.
