New radiation technique aims to protect brain function in cancer patients
NCT ID NCT05013892
Summary
This study is testing a more precise form of whole brain radiation therapy designed to protect healthy brain tissue while treating cancer that has spread to the brain. Researchers want to see if this approach improves patients' quality of life and reduces symptoms like memory problems and fatigue. About 41 adults with brain metastases will receive the targeted radiation along with a standard medication.
