NCT ID NCT02656407
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study tested a new, highly sensitive ultrasound method to map brain activity during surgery. 23 adults having brain tumor or lesion surgery participated. The goal was to see if this ultrasound technique could show which brain areas are active, compared to standard methods like electrical stimulation and MRI. This is an early-stage study to understand if the technique works, not a treatment.
